The 7 Sins of Networking – A Coach’s Journey

“The 7 Sins of Networking – A Coach’s Journey” is a coach-specific workshop exploring the mindset barriers professionals face around networking and visibility. Drawing from my experience coaching over 100 professionals at the Career Centre of a large
pharmaceutical company, I observed a recurring struggle with networking — not from a lack of tips or tools, but from limiting beliefs and emotional discomfort.

To help clients navigate this, I developed the “7 Sins of Networking,” a practical framework to identify where individuals get stuck. This workshop offers coaches a chance to explore the seven sins in depth—not only to better support their clients but also to reflect on their own relationship with networking, connection, and influence.

As part of the session, participants will apply the insights to themselves by developing and practicing their own networking pitch — in a supportive, peer-based format.
