Mastering the discovery call for a youth coaching client.

As a youth coach, our first interaction is usually with the parent / caretaker. Under the ICF this would be the sponsor. It is important as a coach to distinguish the difference between client and sponsor. All this begins in establishing tightly the agreement and that can begin in a discovery call. In this webinar you will learn how to set the narrative with the sponsor, establish agreement, specify contracting, explain coaching to the parent / sponsor and determine next steps. The framework of the discovery call is designed in accordance with the core ICF competencies.
