Women Empowerment through Coaching
Supporters of “women empowerment” have often been accused of acknowledging women’s powerlessness, or wanting women to have a hold on power. We need to (re)define empowering women as helping them to fully believe in their influential role and to embrace their potentials.
It is to encourage them, through coaching, to recognize their abilities, and to overcome any obstacles along the way—imposter syndrome, limiting beliefs, or saboteurs.
Coaching helps women create healthy boundaries that support them in all aspects of life. It empowers them to be fulfilled and successful as family members and as career women, and to fully believe in the importance of their role in society.
During her Humanities Studies, Dr Mouhiba was interested in women’s role in different cultures and throughout time. She realized that women’s participation in any society or historical period was far more important than acknowledged.
Later as Professor at different universities, she integrated women studies into her courses, whether Literature, International Relations, or History courses, being convinced that “her-story” needed to have the same weight and right to be told as “his-story.”
Her life purpose has constantly been to help acknowledge women’s accomplishments, and to encourage women to empower themselves. Coaching can certainly help women play a pivotal role in all areas of life, and achieve fulfilment, success, and happiness.
